Job Title Senior Oracle Database Administrator
Essential Functions
  • Provide expert Oracle technical support; design implement and maintain high availability and 100% accessibility (internal and external) of all Oracle RDBMS instances in Oracle 12c, 10g, 9i DataGuard/Golden Gate environment.
  • Design Oracle and ODBC architecture and infrastructure, including integration architecture, data architecture, data warehousing infrastructure and data delivery infrastructure.
  • Represent and normalize multidimensional databases using Snowflake and Star Schema.
  • Measure, diagnose and tune RDBMS performance.
  • Modify system-level configuration to optimize performance.
  • Install and configure enterprise manager 13c cloud control and configure the OMS (Oracle Management Service) in HA (High Availability) with Microsoft Active Directory (LDAP) integration.
  • Design and maintain Backup and Recovery architecture using central RMAN repository.
  • Build PL/SQL procedures for data load/migration.
  • Use Linux/Unix OS fundamentals and SQLs procedures for performance trouble shooting and new DB installs.
  • Install and configuration Real Application Clusters (RAC) in ODA and EXADATA Environments.
  • Apply quarterly security CPU and PSU patches to production and DR environments.
  • Use Perl scripting (server side); C and C++,   Provide level 2 and 3 support for complex database issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and five years of experience as Database Administrator.
  • Experience to include Oracle 12c, RMAN, Perl scripting, C++, ODA, ODBC and PL/SQL and Snowflake and Star Schema.
